Noah Verrier

I am a Professional Artist and former Professor of Art at FSU. In 2008 I was inspired by the A Painting A Day movement and decided to start my own blog to sell my smaller, more intimate daily paintings through eBay auction. My daily paintings are painted in one session, wet on wet or "alla prima" usually in just a few short hours. For me each daily painting is a prayer to God, a small intimate moment where I get to be still and contemplate, analyze, and interpret the light, colors, and shapes before me. My Paintings carry on the tradition of the late 19th century painterly realists before me, such as Sargent, Sarolla, Manet and Beaux.

In 2014 I was chosen as one of the nations top 40 painters by "New American Paintings" issue #111.

My paintings reside in private and public collections around the world, Including the Presidents house (FSU), and the Florida State Capitol.

I am fortunate to have studied with Mark Messersmith & Lilian Garcia-roig at Florida State University, they have had a great impact on my work.

I Hold an MFA degree in art and am currently a painting and drawing instructor at FSU. I also do private lessons as well as teach painting and drawing workshops throughout the year at various venues.

Thank you for looking and collecting!
Noah
